Ind-apex Innovation Center

The Ind-apex Innovation Centre, a subsidiary of electrical supply manufacturer TMB factories, focuses on developing products and technologies for the electrical industry by bringing together various startup companies.
The design concept prioritizes a comfortable, practical, and interactive space to foster human interaction. This is achieved through various discussion spaces (two-person, multi-person, and online meeting rooms), portable brainstorming areas, service and relaxation zones, and game rooms.

The design incorporates the company's organizational colors and draws inspiration from copper, evident in elements like cable separators, flower boxes, and glass profiles. Curved forms in the layout, ceiling, and lighting design were intentionally used to promote focus, tranquility, and a dynamic feel.

The facility's layout planning emphasizes providing ample individual space while adhering to necessary standards. Visual separation avoids sharp or disproportionate corners for better functionality.
Semi-enclosed glass and copper cable separators create semi-private spaces that allow activities to extend outwards. A centrally located bar-like service area aims to enhance interaction among individuals and companies within the innovation centre.

"The organizational and selected colors of the collection, as requested by the employer at the Indapex Innovation Center, guided us in the design process to utilise blue and orange more prominently for differentiating various spaces. These spaces include group work areas, private spaces, relaxation areas, phone booths, meeting rooms, and ceiling designs."
