SJKC Chung Wa Gerik Perak
The Persatuan Ibu Bapa Dan Guru (PIBG) of SJK (C) Chung Wa in Gerik has successfully completed a 3-storey educational building with a budget sourced from public donations. Designed to accommodate approximately 200 students, this new addition provides space for regular classes and extracurricular activities.
The building features 6 classrooms, 6 washrooms, and a versatile canteen that doubles as a venue for events and activities. One of the most visually captivating aspects of this structure is its dynamic façade, a brilliant tapestry of hues that casts a kaleidoscope of colorful rays across the central sports field.
This artistic flourish does more than just beautify; it serves as a beacon of creativity and wonder, inviting students and faculty alike into a realm where inspiration and curiosity are kindled. The choice of colors and their arrangement on the façade has been meticulously planned to evoke a sense of joy and creativity, aligning with the educational ethos of fostering a vibrant and stimulating learning environment.

Moreover, the architectural ingenuity extends to the practical incorporation of ventilation blocks and strategic openings within this colorful mosaic. This design consideration ensures that while the façade captures the imagination, it also promotes the physical well-being of the building's occupants. By allowing natural light to suffuse the interior spaces, the design creates bright and airy classrooms that stimulate mental alertness and focus. Concurrently, these features facilitate the circulation of fresh air, maintaining a comfortable and cool atmosphere that is essential for optimal learning conditions.
The integration of these elements—vibrant aesthetics, natural lighting, and efficient ventilation—into the building's façade underscores a holistic approach to educational architecture. It represents a fusion of form and function that not only enhances the educational experience but also embodies the school's commitment to environmental sustainability and the well-being of its community. Through this innovative design, SJK (C) Chung Wa sets a new standard for school buildings, where architecture plays a pivotal role in educating, inspiring, and nurturing young minds.
